Making time to feel gratitude and really be thankful for the things we have in our lives is a powerful habit to undertake.
Yes, there can be disappointments and hard times in life, but dwelling on these aspects of our lives only makes life feel like a hard slog each and every day. Luckily there is another way…
‘When we focus on gratitude, the tide of disappointment goes out and the tide of love rushes in.’ Kristin Armstrong
‘The thankful heart opens our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surround us.’ James E. Faust
By consciously being grateful for what we already have, we shift our mindset to a more positive place where we can feel love and appreciation more freely. This, in turn, creates more happiness in our lives.
‘It is not happy people who are grateful, it is grateful people who are happy.’ Unknown
